At 10 months, 1 week and 1 day, Jahan appears to have taken his first steps completely unassisted. This morning, he stood up by himself from a squatting position, contemplated his feet for a few moments, and then took a step forward before he sat down again. I realise it could still be several weeks before he will take enough consecutive steps to be credited with "walking". However, as he has repeated the "stepping" process unassisted several times today, I think it is fair to record this as a milestone!
