Although Jahan has been walking for almost two weeks, until a couple of days ago, if he needed to access something in a hurry, his preferred mode of travel was still to crawl. Walking was experimental and sporadic, although increasing in agility everyday.
Today I noticed that with the odd exception, when he shuffles under a table to retrieve something, Jahan no longer crawls. If he is seated and wants to get somewhere, he stands up, walks there, then sits down again. I remember Chris making note back in March on Jeyanth's Blog (see entry 9th March) about how when a child acquires a new skill it can go so quickly from being something unthinkably difficult to becoming second nature.
