I don't want to get too excited about this, because one data point does not a trend make. However, Duncan and I were very pleased to notice last night, how happily Jahan played with his crazy cousins at his grandparents' place. Jahan doesn't see Annalise and Natasha very often, and the last time he saw them (Easter) he was very tentative, grumpy and clingy - behaviour typical of the stranger awareness/ separation anxiety he has displayed for many months. Last night, however, he beamed at Duncan's sister and family when he saw them, happily gave out cuddles and followed his cousins around the house gleefully observing their various antics.
It is most probable that this new-found confidence has arisen from regularly attending Day Care where he is exposed to other kids. Our fingers are firmly crossed that the aforementioned trend will emerge forthwith.
