Having been consumed by other matters recently, it only occurred to me today how much Jahan's already comprehensive vocabulary has soared in the past few weeks. Not only is he able to repeat a larger variety of words, he actually understands so much more and can communicate so much better.
A mealtime conversation may consist of utterances such as "Tha- han hun-gee!" (Jahan hungry), "yummy!", "bikk-ie", "joos" and "more, Daddy". Playtime instigates expressions such as "hot potato", "ted-dee hug" and various deliberate animal noises (cow, elephant and panda bear being favourites).
And then he just comes out with words you didn't even realise he's picked up - like "gag-gage" (garage) and "bum".
Oh - and the most impressive one so far: Alburquerque.
