I committed recently to taking Jahan at least one place interesting on the weekends. This weekend we managed to do three interesting things.
We went to the Koala Park - where Jahan stroked the koalas and kangaroos, and saw wallabies, wombats, emus, peacocks, cassuaries, pademalons and dingoes. We had a picnic at Cumberland State Forest, where Jahan ran around, tried to make fire and stuck his fingers in rotting tree stumps while Mummy and Daddy relaxed. Then on Sunday we went tenpin bowling for Isaiah's birthday - and Jahan took about 15 seconds to get the hang of bowling!!
Not sure that the hardware store or Westfield are going to cut it anymore...
