Yup, I do believe the Terrible Two's have well and truly hit. I blogged in my previous entry that Jahan has found a clear and concise way of communicating his protestations. The problem is the prolificity with which those protestations are spewing forth these days.
"Jahan, shall we go upstairs?"
"No!"
"Do you want some mango?"
"No!"
"Let's get into the car."
"No!"
"Say hello to Aunty X/ Uncle Y"
"No, no!" etc.
Of course, in almost every case, he is more than happy to comply with my requests - but not until he has first communicated his own opinion about the matter.
I realise this aspect of the TT's is just a normal and healthy way in which a toddler develops his own sense of will and appreciation of freedom. But it sure does begin to grate. :-(
