I blogged a few months ago that Jahan has become Daddy's little boy. He still asks for his Daddy in the early mornings, and won't tolerate a bottle of milk or a cuddle from me at this hour. He is still visibly upset when his Daddy leaves for work and needs to be distracted to cheer up.
This morning, however, Jahan stayed at home with his Daddy while I left for work... and he didn't want me to leave. He hugged me tightly and seemed quite distressed when I said goodbye.
It seems as though Jahan's favourite parent at the moment, is the one who happens to be leaving. Understandably, he doesn't want either of us to go, and gets excited when he gets to play with whichever one of us he has seen least that day.
But at 5am, Jahan is still Daddy's little boy - which currently means Mummy gets a lot more sleep... so she's not complaining.
