Jahan has been using words to communicate for some time. He has now taken the next step and is beginning to ask questions. These have so far included:
"What 'dat?",
"Where Daddy gone?" and most commonly now,
"What 'doing, Mummy?".
With ever-heightening curiosity, Jahan now visibly tries to understand what it is that I am doing from moment to the next, why I am doing it, what the outcome will be, and (most importantly) whether he can do it too. At the moment, I find his questions interesting and exciting to hear. But starting so early, here's hoping my patience with interrogation continues throughout his toddler years...
