Jahan, who can now speak in incomplete sentences, has taken his word association to another level again. He has begun to invent meaningful new words.
When flipping through a picture book of fish the other day, he saw a starfish and immediately cried "Twinklefish!". And on seeing a worm in the back yard this morning, cried "Snake poochi!" (Poochi being the Tamil word for "insect":-).
